AVEENO Positively Radiant Targeted Tone Corrector

I never thought I'd listen to anything Jennifer Aniston had to say on beauty. I  mean let's face it, she's kind of perfect, what could she possibly know about having dark spots? After receiving Aveeno's Targeted Tone Corrector free from Influenster - I decided to try it out! At $15 for a  oz tube it's not a product I would have tried out of the blue, but after using this tube, I am convinced it would be money well spent!

At 36, I have developed a discoloration on my left cheek that has been becoming more prominent over the past year. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis, so it's really just sitting out there for the world to see. After two weeks or do of applying this product twice a day to my dark spot it has actually started to fade. Take that aging process!! I am really impressed with this product and am definitely considering trying some of the other products in this line.

I definitely feel more #RadiantWithAVEENO after using this product!

Influenster - J'Adore VoxBox

Influenster. My favorite new company. I've been working with these guys for a few months now and have had the opportunity to get some really great products to try out in exchange for my participation in social media, sharing my reactions to the products.

The latest VoxBox that I am participating in is Valentine themed, and arrived on my doorstep in a bright pink box. Hard to not love that! Upon opening I was greeted with a bevy of products that I have spent the past couple of weeks trying out.

The first of these was a Family Size bag of Hershey Kisses in a Valentine's theme.
It was hard not to devour this whole bag in one sitting, these are one of my favorites! So simple, yet a great treat. I'm proud to say, it's been two weeks and I still have some left!

Another great product in this box was Red Rose's new line of Simply Indulge teas. I was able to try the Lemon Chiffon, a decaf version as well as the Creme Caramel. To be honest, I'm not much of a tea drinker, and the Lemon Chiffon was definitely not my "cup of tea". The other, the Creme Caramel, was a lot better and had a much smoother flavor.
I'm definitely planning on trying out the other two flavors in this line, the Peach Cobbler and the Cinnamon Streudel. Good Job Red Rose on coming out with these inventive flavors!

Also in this VoxBox from Influenster was a sample size of John Frieda's Frizz Ease Three Day Straight. This is a formula that is specially designed for use with flat iron. It claims that you can have straight and manageable hair for up to three days. Sadly, there is just no way I can go three days without washing my hair, whether it's sleek and straight or not.
I did give this a shot, and it does do a pretty great job of keeping the frizz at bay. I have to say I am really jealous of anyone who can reap the full benefits of this product though!

Another beauty product that came to me was one I had never even heard of but was definitely excited to try! Boots Botanic Clay Mask. This is an all natural product that promises to deeply cleanse and remove impurities all while using "The Power of Plants".

I really did like this product. It reminded me of going to the spa and getting a clay mask facial. Similar concept, just for home use. The end result was decent as well. I ended up with a nice clean look, and it only took a short while!

Great job this time around Influenster! I'm always happy to try out the products that you send for free. I've always got an opinion about something and this great program gives me the opportunity to share my thoughts with all of you!

Suave Professionals - This Girl's Bestfriend.

Those who know me in real life can attest to the fact that I am a total spendthrift. In the past five years I have gone from being upper middle class, with a great paying job . . . to, let's say not so well to do. I drive a used sedan, where I use to drive a brand new import. I cook at home FAR more than I go out to eat. Redbox is my best friend for a cheap night in. Basically, I am looking to save every penny I can to make the few dollars I have to spare go as far as they possibly can.

I love looking my best, but I just can't bear to spend double digit dollars at the salon for "GOOD" hair care products. My sister turned me on to the Suave Professional line a few years ago, and I have been using the Sleek formula ever since. Unfortunately I was cursed with awfully frizzy hair, and more fly aways than I know what to do with on any given day. I hate weighing my hair down with a ton of product, and this line of shampoo and conditioner provides a great foundation for starting the day off right.

At my local Wal-Mart I can get a big bottle shampoo and conditioner for around $6, and they last me a good month. The consistency is rich and creamy and doesn't leave a ton of build up on my hair. It's really a win win. The sleek formula does a great job on cutting back on frizz and flyaways, and I always feel like I'm not spending a small fortune just to have a good hair day!

If you have not had the pleasure of trying this line from Suave, give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised, as I am sure you will be too!
